Bluefield's Distinct Skyline
Facade Program
The Facade Program is available city-wide in Bluefield, WV. The program is for commercial/industrial buildings that are currently being used for business and/or that are planned to be used for business within the next year. (It must be an existing building). Each participating business will be eligible for 50% matched funding up to $15,000 and will be paid on a reimbursement basis for improvements to the exterior of their building. Eligible activities include but are not limited to:

Small Business Success Center
Technical Assistance Program (TAP)
If you started a business on or after January 1, 2021, you can apply for financial assistance from BEDA's Small Business Success Center Technical Assitance Program (TAP). You can apply for up to $500 in assistance towards professional services you may need such as legal, IT, marketing, accounting, or other related services. The program aims to provide you with powerful tools and resources to create a sustainable future for your business.
Food Truck Incubator Program
On April 29th, 2022, BEDA and partners applied for an Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) POWER Grant to secure funds to launch a region-wide Food Truck Incubator Program. This is a collaborative effort with the following West Virginia counties: Fayette, McDowell, Mercer, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Summers, Webster, and Wyoming.
